1950 Press Photo Fishing Contest at Downtown Greendale Day, Wisconsin

Greendale residents tease the trout (and vice versa) during the second annual Downtown Greendale Days festivities Friday. The "fishin' contest" is one of a series of events leading up to the official start of redevelopment of the west side of the suburb's downtown district at 10 a.m. Saturday. Anglers tried their luck at the two "streams" all day Friday. The event is sponsored by the Greendale Businessmen's Association.
