Description
This aerial photo shows a large segment of the village of Greendale. The major intersection at the lower right corner is W. Loomis rd. (highway 36) and W. Grange av. Grange is shown running westward to the horizon. Loomis rd. runs south toward the left side of the picture. That's Scout Lake park, a county park, in the lower left corner. Note curvilinear pattern of streets in the village, wide stretches of planned open spaces. Pattern was set in original planning in 1936. This picture is reversed left-to-right.
