1951 Press Photo Farmers at Setzelback Village Rhoen Mountains Germany

Though the threat of war is hanging over Europe, there seems to be little evidence of tension along the west German-Russian zone border. Farmers, living in the village of Setzelbach in the Rhoen mountians, work their fields, split by the wester-Soviet zone border. Special passes permit them to cultivate and harvest their farmland in the Red area. (Germany - Agriculture)
