Headed Home, He Says - Governor Orval Faubus, granddaughter Fara Faubus on his knee, talks with newsmen and supporters Monday after announcing that he will not seek a seventh term. Faubus said he would go home to Huntsville, Arkansas, "do some writing, get back in good health, clear my mind of problems, assess the political situation...then I'd be ready for anything". He declined to elaborate further on his plans.
