1989 Press Photo Coho Salmon Fingerlings at Michigan's Harriette Hatchery

Coho salmon are growing these days in rearing tanks of Michigan's Harriette hatchery. Last year, spawning salmon were captured in weirs, striped of their eggs. The eggs were hatched. The fish are now fingerlings of three and four inches.
