1959 Press Photo Floodwater in Washington County, Wisconsin Fails to Heed Sign

Water did not heed this sign in Washington County, where a creek north of Menomonee Falls spilled over its banks. By Friday afternoon, some two feet of water stood on the land west of Trunk Q, between State Highway 175 and United States Highway 41.
