Worn out waiting. John, 8, rests his head on a table in the library at the Safe House after coming home sick from school. He was to be transferred to a "receiving home," where he would spend a longer time than he did at the Safe House. He was at the Safe House about 10 days. Workers said he seemed to be "down" because all the older children he had been with had already left the Safe House. Only smaller children and John remained. Foster Children - Series.
