THE FIRST LADY was Elizabeth A. Bloomer when this picture was taken in 1937 during a dance class at Bennington (Vermont) College summer school. According to her former associates at Cap Bryn Afom, near Rhinelander, that was the first summer Mrs. Ford spent as a counselor at the camp. Mrs. Gerald R. Ford and others.
