1993 Press Photo Bill Duffy checks water levels after floods in Wisconsin

Bill Duffy, 50, checks the water level as he monitors the pumps at his mother's home at 1047 S. 1st street in Prairie Du Chien. He caught four northerns and a bass fishing from the garage while watching the water level rise to within an inch of the ground floor. Duffy confesses, "It's still nice to live on the river."
