Funeral services for Craig Salkowski, a 5-month-old Waupun infant who had undergone a liver transplant March 5, are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church here. He died Saturday morning at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison of complications resulting from the transplant, Kohl's funeral home said. Craig was the son of Martin and Rachelle Salkowski. he was born without a bile duct, and the resulting buildup of bile was causing cirrhosis, a scarring and degeneration of tissue. He was expected to live about a year without a liver transplant.
