1963 Press Photo Sister Charlotte wheels Mrs. Elizabeth Ferris in a courtyard

Sister Charlotte, a member of the Little Sisters of the Poor, wheeled Mrs. Elizabeth Ferris, 86, a resident of the home, in the courtyard of the 87 year old building. A two million dollar fund raising campaign was begun Wednesday.
