A day on the farm - It was "Father's Day on the Farm" Sunday at the Robert Fryda Jersey Farm in Sussex, and an estimated 1,000 people turned out for the event, which featured food, music and a milking contest among political candidates. Above: Matt Flynn got a pat on the back from a well-wisher-as he milked a cow. The encouragement wasnât enough, however, because he finished fourth in a field of four with 4 pounds of milk in 5 minutes. Democratic US Senate candidate Ed Garvey was first with 17 pounds. Trudy Formella, candidate for Waukesha county treasurer and a stand-in for former Governor Tony Earl, was second and Republican Senate candidate Steve King was third. Below: a youngster got help climbing into the hayloft.
