1980 Press Photo Easter lily common to bloom in the fall, even after hard frost.

Last week this Easter, lily plant was blooming outdoors at the home of Frank Miller, 2134 South 6th street. It is common for Easter lilies to bloom in fall after being set out in the spring, but it is odd to have bloom so late, after the hard frosts we have had.
