1984 Press Photo Smoke Billowing from the Cooling Tower of Family Hospital

Smoke billowed from a fire in the cooling tower of Family Hospital, 2711 W. Wells St., Tuesday morning. It took firefighters about 20 minutes to extinguish the fire, which spread dark smoke though the ninth floor. Some employes but no patients were evacuated form the building.
