Billioe Sol Estes listened to some advice from his attorney, Jack Bryant as he appeared Tuesday at a public hearing before the senate investigations subcommittee in Washington. The Texas promoter gave no answers, refusing to say whether influence helped him to swing allegedly illegal farm aid deals on which he made a fortune. He pleaded that answers to such questions might tend to incriminate him.
