1991 Press Photo Apartment roof construction at Milwaukee's East Pointe Commons

Sections of a roof are hoisted to the top of one of the East Pointe Commons buildings under construction at the corner of E. Ogden Avenue and North Van Buren Street. The 64 townhouses and 124 apartments are being developed by the Trammell Crow Company with partners Wispark Corporation and Milwaukee Redevelopment Corporation. Leasing of units in the $17 million housing project starts Tuesday.
