Volleyball players raised more than $25,000 on Saturday for the Easter Seal Society of Milwaukee County in the Miller Lite Coed Volleyball Challenge at Kuglitsch's in New Berlin, according to Susan Wells, director of special events for Easter Seals. Sixty teams took part in the day-long event, which is one of the largest one-day coed volleyball challenges in the Midwest. Teams raised money through pledges or employer matching money. Laurie Gonring of Richfield, saves her Sand Dawgs teams from being spiked during early action.
