Janet Forsman (left), 5, from Yakima, Washington, figures she will get a leg up on Christmas by softly whispering her gift wishes to Santa via the Whisper Dishes at Discovery World in the Central Library, 818 W. Wisconsin Avenue, Friday. The design of the exhibit enables shy people to convey their requests at one dish while Santa listens at the other dish across the room.
