Mason st. in a building owned by the Patrick Cudahy Family Co. George Schellgell, company manager, said remodeling would be started soon. Operator of the shop will be Joseph A. Ortiz, 4246 N. 74th st., who now operates the 400 shop at 400 N. Water st. It was his idea for an old fashioned shop in East Town. He now is trying to find an old wooden barber pole for the exterior.
