Anthony S. Earl (right), the Democratic candidate for governor, spoke at a fund-raiser for Democratic Assembly candidates Thursday evening at Major Goolsby's 340 West Kilbourn Avenue. Earl told the crowd, estimated at 275 people, that most Democratic candidates opposing each other in the primary had mended their political differences and that the party was now united behind party choices for the November 2 general election.
