1989 Press Photo students raise money for earthquake victims in California

Substitute teacher Rita Lundell and fourth-grader Jeremy Mueller, 9, pass out popcorn bought by fifth-grader Lisa Milligan, 10, and other students at Lincoln Elementary School, 4416 S. Packard Avenue, Cudahy. Students made and sold the popcorn as a fund-raising event Tuesday. Money collected will be sent to Watsonville, California, to help victims of the October 17 earthquake.
