Description
The new microelectronics research laboratory of the Eaton Corp in Milwaukee utilizes an ultra-pure water treatment system assembled and installed by WaterSoft of Waukesha. Leota Spencer, lab supervisor, and James Benjamin, lab manager, demonstrate the cleansing of quartz tubes holding silicon wafers for Daniel M. Muchin (right), president of WaterSoft. The tubes are purified prior to being placed in a diffusion furnace at the lab.
