An odd duck is nesting in a tree near the Washington park boathouse. The duck, a mallard, ignored the fact that most mallards are ground nesting birds. But this one seems to like the view from its nest about 15 feet above the ground. Milwaukee public museum officials described the treed mallard as "very unusual."
