Donald W. Kubenik, president of Du-Mont Wisconsin, West Allis, helps direct traffic for a convoy of trucks carrying a large duct work system to the Port of Milwaukee. Consisting of 14 pieces weighing more than 150 tons in total, the system represents the larges sheet metal fabrication ever produced by the company. At the port, the pieces were moved from the trucks onto a barge for shipment by lake and canal to a power station in Illinois. Du-Mont has its plant at 9312 West National Avenue.
