Harley and Mary Edmonds. "It's been a lot of miles and a lot of papers over a lot of years." That was the Harley Edmonds' simple assessment of his job. Harley, 55, is one of those "cogs in a wheel" that always read about: unheralded but indispensable. He is one of more than 100 independent relay contractors on whom the Circulation Department of The Milwaukee Sentinal and Milwaukee Journal rely to distribute newspapers to more than two-thirds of the state and the Upper Peninsula.
