Those 20-hour days on the campaign trail take their toll on Charlie Davis, executive director of the Bush presidential campaign in Wisconsin, took a breather as he plotted strategy a few weeks before the April 1 Wisconsin primary. Davis, a Milwaukee advertising and public relations executive, is a veteran of many Wisconsin Republican campaigns, including Nixon's in '68 and '72, and Ford's in '76.
