Molly Decker received a hug from Tim Thiele after he presented her an award for many years of service to Lutheran Homes of Oconomowoc. Fifty years is along time to do anything. But Molly Decker, who just completed a half-century as a volunteer at Shorehaven Nursing Home says its doesn't seem like work if you like what you do. Decker began her work at Shorehaven as a nurse's aid in 1939, she said. Even then she volunteered during her free time. She and her husband, Herbert; 80, have lived in Oconomowoc since 1940. In 1958, she quit her paid job and began working voluntarily two days each week in Shorehaven's beauty salon.
