Students in Milwaukee Area Technical College's Combustion Engine Department will work this year with the latest in diesel equipment, courtesy of Murphy Diesel Co. The West Allis subsidiary of Moteren-Werke Mannheim AG of Mannheim, West Germany, donated this four cylinder, 255 horsepower engine for use at MATC's South Campus. Gustav Hirsch, left, an instructor in the department, accepted the engine this week from Murphy President Lee A. Delaney, center, and Charles McNeil, vice president of manufacturing.
