To trace source of gum and jaw trouble in some patients, a team of orthodontics professors at Melbourne (Australia) University have attached tiny transmitters inside denture plates. Impulses are picked up on a scanner, and the medics can trace the likely sore spots by variations in the impulses. Aerial coil around neck picks up denture signal.
