Description
A $600,000 federal harbor dredging project is under way at Kenosha. The dredge Kewaunee is being operated two eight-hour shifts, six days a week. The harbor is being deepened to 25 feet. Port officials said many oceangoing ships have not docked at Kenosha this year because the channel is not deep enough. A total of 28 men are working on the dredging job.
