Hoffman (left), 3659 South 86th Street, manager of the department, to three men attending the 11th annual Great Lakes mechanical conference which started here Sunday. From left are Bernard Bradley, mechanical superintendent of the Kankakee (Illinois) Daily Journal; Clayton J. Smits, assistant composing room superintendent of the Ann Arbor (Michigan) News. Persons who attended the conference toured the Journal Sunday.
