1989 Press Photo Inland Lakes Yachting Association Class X Championship Regatta

More than 100 skippers and their crews competed last weekend at Nagawicka Lake in the senior division of the Inland Lakes Yachting Association Class X Championship Regatta. Sailors ages 15 and 16 from nine Midwest lakes took part in the regatta. The ILYA regatta for junior sailors, ages 14 and under, was held at Okauchee Lake. Bill Lieber of Cedar Lake won the senior regatta. Eric Jewett, of Minnetonka, Minnesota, was second and Joe Boland, of Pewaukee, took third.
