After working behind the scenes for 46 years, Edgar H. Boers, 62, a lifetime Oak Creek resident and the city's street superintendent, soon will have his day. The Oak Creek Chamber of Commerce each year honors a resident who unselfishly has performed services for the city. This year the group has chosen Boers to receive its citizen-of-the-year award.
