1987 Press Photo Sujit Kumar Maharjan suffers from severe dehydration in Nepal

Sujit Kumar Maharjan, 4, was suffering from severe dehydration when she arrived at the Kanti Children's Hospital in Katmandu, Nepal. Her mother spoon-fed her oral rehydration solution to combat the often-fatal effects of diarrhea, and the child survived.
