Between acts the annual Festival of the Arts, visitors stroll along the flower-bedecked plaza of the Queen Elizabeth Theater in Vancouver, British Columbia. The theater and adjoining Playhouse, with a total seating capacity of 3,5000, have presented some of the world's top talent. At this year's Festival, from June 29 to July 30, productions will range from an opera of "Hansel and Gretel" to the comedy "Big Soft Nellie".
