1989 Press Photo Margaret Collura at memorial for slain police officers

Margaret Collura, mother of slain Milwaukee police officer Rosario Collura, touched a wreath that was placed near the memorial for slain police officers at MacArthur Square. Collura, whose son was killed in 1985, attended a service Wednesday in memory of police officers killed in the line of duty. The program drew about 150 persons and included tributes from Governor Tommy G. Thompson, Mayor John O. Norquist and Attorney General Donald J. Hanaway.
