1985 Press Photo Whitefish Dunes State Park, Door County on Lake Michigan shore

Whitefish Dunes State Park in Door County is located south of Jacksonport on the Lake Michigan shore between Whitefish Point and Cave point. The park was created in the late 1970s, and the stands form the highest dunes on the western Lake Michigan shore.
