Demonstrations - U.S. Marines Battle Peace Pickets - Uniformed marine reservists grappled with peace pickets in Houston's Herman park Sunday after the pickets joined an American Legion "back the war" parade. The marines battalion .... acted unofficially when they sought to separate the pickets from the 5,000 flag carrying marchers. No one was hurt and only one person was arrested.
