1954 Press Photo Blonnie Collier's Chicken Laid a Half Pound 4 inch Egg in Miami

This hen proudly displayed the huge egg she laid. The egg weighed almost one-half pound and measured about four inches in diameter. A normal size egg was at the right. The hen is owned by Blonnie Collier of Miami, Florida.
