The Colsac II, the Merrimac Car Ferry, made its way across the Wisconsin River between Merrimac and Okee. The ferry service, which links the Columbia and Sauk Counties sections of Highway 113, will close Friday for the winter. Service will resume in the spring. The service was first chartered in 1844.
