1982 Press Photo Jim Neuberg's Pony Team Tries To Pull More Than 1,000 Pounds

Contest took brute force - The dirt flew Tuesday as Jim Neuberg's pony team tried to budge more than 1,000 pounds during a pony pull at the Wisconsin State Fair in West Allis. Neuberg, of Hortonville in Outagamie County, held the reins as the ponies tugged. But the first-place honor went to the pony team of David Kohn, who hails from Markesan in Green Lake County.
