1968 Press Photo John Burke accepts Wisconsin Catholic layman of the year award

John C. Burke (left) accepted the 1967 Wisconsin Catholic layman of the year award Sunday from Paul J. Halder of Beaver Dam. Burke, a warden at the state prison at Waupun, is the eighth man to be honored by Beaver Dam's Pope John council of the Knights of Columbus as the outstanding layman. Halder is grand knight of the council.
