1955 Press Photo Milwaukee W club awarded football trophy to Rufus King School

Rufus King receives its city championship football trophy, awarded by the Milwaukee "W" club, at a dinner for the team Tuesday night at the school. Left to right are Jim Hammond, former Wisconsin athlete, representing the "W" club; Coach Wally Dreyer, and Co-Capts. Dick Rauch and Jack Loyda. King won its first city title in the season just closed. The Generals had a record of seven victories and one tie.
