1986 Press Photo St. John organist Deborah Brzycki suffers rheumatoid arthritis

Deborah Brzycki, of Greenfield, an organist at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, sometimes plays through pain, especially when the weather gets soggy or she's been overactive. Two years ago, Brzycki learned she had rheumatoid arthritis, and her physician told her that the work she'd done for love and money for more than 20 years might have to go by the board.
