"When Outdoor Writers Get Together" Outdoor editors of Midwest papers recently got together as guests of the H.F. Wellman Co., Geneva, Ohio. tackle representatives at Scheer's Ghost Lake Lodge, Hayward. It is planned to make this an annual affair. Left to Right are Hank Andrews, Clevland Press; Ries Tuttle, Des Moines Registar and Tribune; Jack Parry, Grant Post; Don Gillies (standing in rear), Detroit Times; Ed Hayes Detroit Times sports Editor; Lt. Gov. Warren Knowles, telling about the big one which got away; Zip Coon, representing the Wisconsin Conservation Department; Lew Morrison, Sentinel, and Jack Griffin, Chicago Sun Times.
