Elisabeth Waldheim, wife of the U.N. secretary-general, is a world traveler, household manager, and reluctant star of the diplomatic social circuit. The Waldheims are living in a New York hotel at present, but are soon to move to the mansion which will become the first official residence of U.N. secretaries-general. The mansion will be furnished in international style, says Mrs. Waldheim, who in addition to running homes in two countries flies off to such places as Moscow and Peking when her husband duties require it

Photo is dated 1972.

Photo measures 8 x 11.25 inches.
