1982 Press Photo Steve Martin aboard specially designed bicycle Reclining Cycle

Steve Martin calls his specially designed bicycle a Reclining Cycle. Martin of Chicago was photographed while traveling near Baraboo on his 18 speed machine. His left hand rested on one of the steering handles, which is connected tot he front wheel by a cable. The bicycle's equipped with an on-board computer that tells distance traveled and the speed and can be programmed to maintain any speed. Martin claims he has invested more than $825 in the bicycle, not counting the computer.
