Description
Worker are busy replacing the darker panels on the face of the Allen-Bradley clock - considered the world's largest four-sided clock - at S. 2nd and W. Scott sts. A company spokesman said that the change was being done so that the clock would be easier to read at night. The clock tower (shown at right) is 280 feet from the ground and on a clear night the face can be seen from 25 miles away, according to reports. Each face consists of 76 individual pieces of glass, most of them 4 feet square
