Students were seen hard at work through the window wall of the new Beloit College library, which will be dedicated Saturday. The $1,200,000 facility is named for Col. Robert H. Morse, former president and board chairman of Fairbanks, Morse & Co., which has a plant in Beloit. The Morse Foundation financed part of the cost. The library has space for 350,000 volumes and a seating capacity of 450.

Photo is dated 1963.
