1978 Press Photo Ed Mleczco(L) & Vern Godfredsen, two Allen-Bradley employees

An exhibit marking the 75th anniversary of the Allen-Bradley Co. will open Tuesday at the Milwaukee County Historical Center, 910 N. 3rd St. Among the products to be displayed will be this crane controller manufactured around 1910. It was a successor to Lynde Bradley's 1903 invention of an industrial control device which was significant in the firm's early growth. Lowering the controller onto a platform were two Allen-Bradley employees-- Ed Mleczco, left, and Vern Godfredsen. The exhibit will be open for three months.
